Brooder Heat Plates

Life's Gift stock 2 sizes of brooder heat plates perfect for raising day old chicks! Our heat plates provide a safe heating system to help your chicks grow and thrive. They simulate being warmed by their mummy hen!

Heat is required for all chicks to survive until they are close to fully feathered around 6 weeks of age. The heat plates have an inbuilt thermostat allowing heat to be reduced from 6 weeks to acclimatise the babies to local conditions.

Medium - 30cm X 40cm Suitable for up to 25 chicks. Power:30w

Large - 45cm X 60cm Suitable for up to 50 chicks. Power:60w
